Kindle

 My Kindle arrived yesterday! 

It’s just the basic 2024 model, but I’m already in love with it. I love the way the screen looks and feels. I spent the evening setting everything up. I downloaded my books ( I even figured out how to download my AO3 books onto it.) and sorted everything into collections. Then, I messed around with the layout and font. I usually like reading in the font Georgia, but unfortunately there wasn’t an option for it, so I just settled for Baskerville with a slight increase in line spacing. 

I honestly didn’t realize how many books I have on my TBR list. Tonight I plan to watch a few episodes of the East of Eden series while downloading the rest of my books. Right now, though, I’m on the hunt for a cute case. I’m thinking of buying one from Etsy. I already have my eye on a leather one that can be engraved with my name.
